Privacy policy
How we look after your details.
Bodysculpt is the trading name of Bodysculpt Transformation Centres Ltd, Unit K, Scotts Industrial Estate, Hoyle Street, Bewsey, Warrington WA5 0LW. This page explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it, in line with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Questions about any of it go to [email protected].
What we collect
- The details you give us when you enquire, download a guide, sign up or buy something: usually your name, email address and mobile number.
- Payment details, which are handled by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number.
- Health and injury information from your health questionnaire at your Intro, so we can coach you safely.
- How you use our services: bookings, attendance, check-ins and scan results.
- Technical information from our website and emails: IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and pixels.
How we use it
- To run your membership or Challenge: bookings, payments, check-ins and anything you have asked us for.
- To get back to you about an enquiry. If you send us your details through a form on this site, we will text and email you about it.
- To send you our emails about training, nutrition and what is on at the gym, if you have opted in or recently enquired, downloaded a guide or bought from us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can reply STOP to any text.
- To keep our records accurate and meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
Only the companies that help us run the business: our customer system and website platform, our payment provider, our booking and training app, our accountants, and the advertising platforms whose pixels run on our site (Meta). Each one is bound by its own data agreement with us. We never sell your details, and we only share them beyond this if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For up to six years after your membership or purchase ends, so we can meet our legal and accounting obligations. Health questionnaires are kept for the same period. If you only enquired and never joined, we keep your details for a reasonable period and then remove them.
Photos and video
We run a no-phones rule on the gym floor. When we film or take photos for our social media, we only use footage of people who have agreed to it. If you ever spot yourself in something and want it taken down, email us and we will remove it.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies and pixels so we can see how people use it and measure our advertising. Some are needed for the site to work, and others help us understand which pages are useful. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Email [email protected] and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
